IKEA VINDSTYRKA Air Quality Sensor

The IKEA VINDSTYRKA is a comprehensive air quality monitor that tracks PM2.5 particulate matter, temperature, humidity, and total Volatile Organic Compounds (tVOC) in your home. The built-in display shows current readings at a glance, while the IKEA Home smart app provides detailed historical data and trends. Monitor air quality in bedrooms, living areas, or anywhere indoor air quality matters.

PM2.5 particles (0.1-2.5 micrometers) are small enough to penetrate deep into lungs and can come from cooking, candles, outdoor pollution, and many household activities. VINDSTYRKA helps you understand when air quality degrades and take action. The sensor requires USB power (adapter sold separately) and connects via Zigbee to the DIRIGERA hub.

When paired with IKEA STARKVIND air purifiers, VINDSTYRKA enables intelligent automation - the purifier automatically adjusts speed based on real-time air quality readings from the sensor placed in the center of the room. Through DIRIGERA, view readings in the app, set up alerts for poor air quality, and create automations that ventilate your home when needed. Note: VINDSTYRKA requires DIRIGERA hub; it's not compatible with the older TRADFRI gateway.
