Step-by-Step Setup
- Electrical installation: Have electrician install 60A circuit and NEMA 14-50 outlet or hardwire connection.
- Mount charger: Attach mounting bracket to wall at comfortable height.
- Connect power: Plug into NEMA 14-50 outlet or have electrician hardwire.
- Download Emporia app: Install and create account.
- Power on charger: Status light indicates ready state.
- Enter pairing mode: Hold button on charger until WiFi indicator flashes.
- Add in app: Tap "Add Device" and select EV Charger.
- Connect WiFi: Enter 2.4GHz network credentials.
- Configure amperage: Set maximum charging rate based on your circuit.
- Set up schedules: Create charging schedules for off-peak rates.
