- Existing outdoor electrical box (with floodlight wiring)
- Apple Home Hub (HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad)
- iCloud+ subscription (for HomeKit Secure Video)
- Eve app or Apple Home app
- Screwdriver, wire nuts, voltage tester
Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker for the outdoor light location.
- Remove old fixture: Take down existing floodlight or fixture.
- Wire the camera: Connect black (hot), white (neutral), and ground wires using wire nuts.
- Mount camera: Attach to junction box using included hardware.
- Restore power: Turn on breaker. Camera floodlight blinks when ready.
- Open Home app: On iPhone, go to Home app. Camera appears as new accessory.
- Scan HomeKit code: Scan code on camera or packaging to add to Home.
- Assign room: Choose location and name for the camera.
- Configure settings: Set motion zones, recording options, and floodlight behavior.
- Enable iCloud recording: Ensure HomeKit Secure Video is enabled in iCloud+ settings.

Troubleshooting
- Camera not appearing: Ensure iPhone is on same WiFi. Check Home Hub is online.
- No recordings: Verify iCloud+ subscription includes HomeKit Secure Video.
- Motion detection issues: Adjust sensitivity and activity zones in Home app.
- Floodlight not activating: Check motion trigger settings. Ensure ambient light setting is correct.
- WiFi disconnects: Camera may be too far from router. Add WiFi extender if needed.
