Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker for the outdoor light location.
  2. Remove old fixture: Take down existing floodlight or fixture.
  3. Wire the camera: Connect black (hot), white (neutral), and ground wires using wire nuts.
  4. Mount camera: Attach to junction box using included hardware.
  5. Restore power: Turn on breaker. Camera floodlight blinks when ready.
  6. Open Home app: On iPhone, go to Home app. Camera appears as new accessory.
  7. Scan HomeKit code: Scan code on camera or packaging to add to Home.
  8. Assign room: Choose location and name for the camera.
  9. Configure settings: Set motion zones, recording options, and floodlight behavior.
  10. Enable iCloud recording: Ensure HomeKit Secure Video is enabled in iCloud+ settings.
