Step-by-Step Setup
- Measure mounting position: Mark bracket positions at desired height inside or outside window frame.
- Install mounting brackets: Drill pilot holes and secure brackets with included screws.
- Attach the blind: Click the blind headrail into the mounting brackets until secure.
- Charge the battery: If needed, charge the rechargeable battery using included USB cable.
- Set up DIRIGERA Hub: Connect hub to power and router. Add to IKEA Home smart app.
- Add blind to app: In IKEA Home smart app, tap "+" and select "FYRTUR blind."
- Pair the blind: Press the pairing button on the blind. Hub discovers it automatically.
- Set travel limits: Use app to calibrate fully open and fully closed positions.
- Test operation: Open and close via app, voice, or the optional TRADFRI remote.

Troubleshooting
- Blind won't pair: Ensure DIRIGERA hub is online. Move blind closer during pairing.
- Battery draining fast: Normal with frequent use. Charge regularly.
- Blind stops mid-travel: Recalibrate limits in app. Check battery level.
- Remote not working: Re-pair TRADFRI remote to hub. Replace remote battery.
- Motor makes noise: Ensure blind is mounted level. Check for obstructions.
