Step-by-Step Setup
- Charge the battery: Connect the USB cable to the battery pack and charge fully before installation (approximately 8 hours).
- Measure and mark: Measure your window frame and mark where the mounting brackets will go. Use a level for accuracy.
- Install brackets: Secure the mounting brackets using the included screws. Ensure they're level.
- Insert battery pack: Slide the charged battery into the roller blind mechanism.
- Hang the blind: Click the roller blind into the brackets.
- Test manual operation: Use the included remote or buttons on the motor to test up/down movement.
- Open IKEA Home Smart app: Navigate to your hub and tap "Add device."
- Pair the blind: Press the pairing button on the blind motor. Follow app prompts to complete pairing.
- Set limits: Calibrate the up and down positions in the app.
- Add to Matter (optional): With DIRIGERA, share to your Matter controller.

Troubleshooting
- Blind won't move: Check battery charge level. Ensure battery is properly inserted. Try resetting by removing and reinserting battery.
- Uneven movement: Check that brackets are level. Ensure blind is properly seated in both brackets.
- Not pairing: Press pairing button for 5 seconds. Move blind closer to hub. Ensure hub is in pairing mode.
- Position limits wrong: Recalibrate in app. Run the blind to each end position and save.
- Battery draining fast: Frequent use decreases battery life. Consider IKEA solar panels for continuous charging.
