Step-by-Step Setup

Locate garage door opener terminals: Find the wall button terminals on your existing opener (usually labeled for wall button or push-to-operate).
Connect the Meross device: Run the included wires from the Meross unit to the garage door opener's terminals. Connect as you would a wired wall button.
Install the door sensor: Mount the magnetic sensor on the top of the garage door and the magnet on the frame, aligned when door is closed.
Connect sensor wires: Run the sensor wires to the Meross unit and connect to the sensor terminals.
Power the Meross unit: Plug into a nearby outlet using the included adapter.
Download Meross app: Install and create or sign in to your account.
Add the device: Tap "+" and select the garage door opener. Follow pairing instructions.
Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4GHz network credentials.
Add to Matter: In device settings, enable Matter sharing. Scan the code with your Matter controller.
Test operation: Open and close the door via app. Verify sensor correctly reports door status.

Door not responding: Check wire connections at the opener terminals. Test by shorting the terminals briefly—door should move.
Status always shows wrong: Verify sensor alignment. Magnet should be within 1" of sensor when closed. Check sensor wire connections.
Wi-Fi connection issues: Garage can have weak signal. Use 2.4GHz network. Consider Wi-Fi extender in garage.
Matter pairing fails: Ensure device is set up in Meross app first. Then share to Matter. Regenerate code if needed.
Safety features blocking operation: Ensure garage door safety sensors are clear. The opener won't close if obstruction is detected.
