What You'll Need

• Brilliant Smart Home Control (2-Switch Panel)
• Phillips head screwdriver
• Wire strippers
• Voltage tester
• Smartphone with Brilliant app
• 2.4GHz WiFi network
• Neutral wire required

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Download Brilliant app: Install and follow the guided installation from the app.
2. Turn off power: Switch off circuit breaker for the switch location.
3. Remove existing switches: Unscrew wall plate and disconnect all wires. Label each circuit.
4. Check box depth: Brilliant requires deeper box than standard switches.
5. Connect wires to base: Insert Line, Load (for each switch), Neutral, and Ground into terminals.
6. Mount the base: Secure the Brilliant base plate to wall box.
7. Attach the control: Snap the touchscreen control onto the base.
8. Restore power: Turn breaker on. Brilliant will boot up.
9. Complete on-screen setup: Connect to WiFi and configure each switch's light type.
10. Link smart home devices: Add Sonos, Ring, Hue, and other compatible devices.

Troubleshooting

• Third-party devices not found: Check compatible device list. Some require cloud account linking.
