Installing Your Level Lock Touch (Matter)

What You'll Need

  • Level Lock Touch (Matter version)
  • Standard door prep (2-1/8" bore, 1" edge bore)
  • CR2 battery (included)
  • Smartphone with Level app
  • Thread border router
  • Screwdriver

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Remove existing deadbolt: Unscrew and remove your current lock completely.
  2. Install Level latch: Insert the Level latch bolt into the edge bore and secure.
  3. Install strike plate: Position and secure the strike plate on the frame.
  4. Mount exterior assembly: Position the exterior touch panel and thread the cable through the door.
  5. Connect interior assembly: Connect the cable and mount the interior unit.
  6. Insert battery: Open the battery compartment and insert the CR2 battery.
  7. Test manual operation: Verify the lock operates smoothly.
  8. Download Level app: Install and set up your account.
  9. Pair via Bluetooth: Add the lock and complete calibration.
  10. Share to Matter: Enable Matter and add to your controller using the generated code.

Troubleshooting
