Step-by-Step Setup
- Remove battery tab: Pull the plastic tab to activate the battery.
- Open Hue app: Ensure Hue Bridge is set up and lights are added.
- Add accessory: Go to Settings > Accessories > Add accessory.
- Select Hue Dimmer Switch: Choose from the list of accessories.
- Put in pairing mode: Hold the Setup button on back until LED blinks orange.
- Pair: App will find and add the dimmer switch.
- Assign to room: Select which room/lights the dimmer controls.
- Customize buttons: Configure what each button does in app settings.
- Mount: Use adhesive plate or screws to mount on wall.

Troubleshooting
- Not discovered: Ensure dimmer is near Bridge during pairing. Reset by holding all 4 buttons for 10 seconds.
- Slow response: Check Zigbee mesh strength. Add Hue bulbs to improve connectivity.
- Wrong lights responding: Reconfigure room/light assignment in app.
- Button customization: Use Hue Labs or third-party apps for advanced configurations.
