What You'll Need
- Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator (installed)
- WiFi network (2.4GHz or 5GHz)
- Samsung account
- SmartThings app on smartphone
Step-by-Step Setup
- Power on refrigerator: After installation, wait for the Family Hub screen to fully boot (may take several minutes).
- Select language: Tap your preferred language on the touchscreen.
- Connect to WiFi: Go to Settings > Network and select your WiFi network. Enter password.
- Sign in to Samsung account: Enter your Samsung account credentials or create a new account.
- Accept terms: Review and accept the terms of service and privacy policy.
- Download SmartThings app: Install on your phone for remote monitoring.
- Add refrigerator to SmartThings: Open app, tap "+", and select your refrigerator from discovered devices.
- Set up Bixby: Optionally enable Bixby voice assistant for hands-free control.
- Configure Family Hub: Add family members, set up calendars, and enable View Inside cameras.
- Personalize the screen: Add apps, photos, and notes to the home screen.

Troubleshooting
- Screen not responding: Power cycle by holding power button. Check for software updates.
- WiFi won't connect: Move router closer or add extender. Try 2.4GHz if 5GHz fails.
- View Inside cameras blurry: Clean camera lenses inside refrigerator. Allow time for condensation to clear.
- Apps not working: Check internet connection. Update Family Hub software.
- Bixby not responding: Check microphone isn't blocked. Verify Bixby is enabled in settings.
