If your Eufy RoboVac (X10 Pro Omni or other models) won't start cleaning, has charging problems, or the app isn't working properly, this guide covers the most common issues and solutions.
Robot Won't Start or Power On
When the RoboVac doesn't respond:
- Ensure the robot is charged - place it on the charging base
- Check that the power switch on the bottom is turned on
- Clean the charging contacts on the robot and base
- Try pressing and holding the power button for 3 seconds
- Verify the charging base has power (indicator light should be on)
- If completely unresponsive, contact Eufy support
Not Returning to Charging Base
When the robot can't find its way home:
- Position the charging base against a wall with 3ft clearance on each side
- Ensure 6ft of clear space in front of the charging base
- Clean the sensors on the front of the robot
- Check that the infrared signal from the base isn't blocked
- Remove any obstacles along the path to the base
- Manually place the robot on the base to confirm charging works
Poor Cleaning Performance
When dirt and debris aren't being picked up:
- Empty the dustbin regularly
- Clean or replace the filter every 2-3 months
- Remove hair tangles from the main brush and side brushes
- Check for blockages in the suction inlet
- Increase suction power in the app settings
- Replace worn brush components
Auto-Cleaning Mop Station Issues (X10 Pro Omni)
For models with self-cleaning stations:
- Ensure the clean water tank is full
- Empty the dirty water tank when indicated
- Clean the mop washing tray regularly
- Check that mop pads are properly attached
- Verify hot water cleaning is enabled if supported
- Run a station maintenance cycle periodically
Navigation and Mapping Problems
If the robot gets stuck or maps incorrectly:
- Clean the sensors on the robot (bump sensor, cliff sensors)
- For LiDAR models, clean the sensor tower
- Remove obstacles like loose cables and small rugs
- Use boundary strips or virtual walls for problem areas
- Reset and recreate the map if it's inaccurate
- Ensure consistent lighting for camera-based navigation
WiFi and App Connection Issues
When the EufyHome app won't connect:
- RoboVacs require 2.4GHz WiFi network
- Move the charging base closer to your router
- Reset WiFi settings and re-pair the robot
- Ensure you're logged into the correct EufyHome account
- Update the app to the latest version
- Restart your router if connection issues persist
Scheduled Cleaning Not Working
If automatic schedules don't run:
- Verify schedules are enabled in the app
- Check that the robot's time zone is set correctly
- Ensure the robot is on the charging base at scheduled times
- Check that Do Not Disturb mode isn't active
- Delete and recreate the schedule if it's not triggering
- Verify the robot has sufficient battery
Error Lights and Beeps
Understanding RoboVac indicators:
- Solid red light - Error or stuck. Check for obstructions
- Flashing red - Low battery or charging error
- 4 beeps - Main brush stuck. Clean the brush
- 5 beeps - Side brush stuck. Clean side brushes
- Continuous beeping - Cliff sensor triggered. Check sensors
- Orange light - Charging in progress
Factory Reset
For persistent issues:
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds
- Wait for the confirmation beep or voice prompt
- Remove the robot from the EufyHome app
- Set up as a new device and reconnect to WiFi
- Recreate your cleaning map and schedules
