Device Shows "No Response"
Common causes:
- WiFi down: Check device has WiFi connectivity
- Home hub: Ensure Apple TV or HomePod is online as home hub
- Power: Verify device has power
- iCloud: Check iCloud HomeKit sync is working
- Restart device: Power cycle the unresponsive device
Home Hub Issues
When home hub isn't working:
- Check status: Home app settings shows connected hub status
- Multiple hubs: If you have multiple, one is primary
- Restart hub: Restart Apple TV or HomePod
- Same Apple ID: Hub must be signed into same iCloud account
- Two-factor: Apple ID must have two-factor authentication
Bluetooth Accessories
For Bluetooth HomeKit devices:
- Range: Must be within Bluetooth range of home hub
- Battery: Check and replace batteries
- Hub proximity: May need home hub closer to device
- Interference: Bluetooth interference can affect range
Thread Accessories
For Thread-enabled devices:
- Border router: Need HomePod Mini or Apple TV 4K (2021+)
- Thread network: Devices form mesh network automatically

Slow Response
When HomeKit is laggy:
- WiFi congestion: Too many devices on network
