Smart TVs integrate with voice assistants and support casting from mobile devices. This guide covers common issues.

TV Not Responding to Voice

Voice control issues:

  • Link account: Link TV in Alexa or Google app
  • Discovery: Run device discovery after linking
  • Naming: Give TV a simple, unique name
  • Same account: TV and assistant must use same account
  • Network: TV must be on same network as assistant

Casting Not Working

Chromecast/AirPlay issues:

  • Same network: Phone and TV must be on same WiFi
