Eve Shutter Switch

Eve Shutter Switch is a smart in-wall switch designed to control motorized window shutters, blinds, awnings, and garage doors through Apple HomeKit. The dual-relay design controls both up/down or open/close movements of connected motors while Thread connectivity ensures responsive operation throughout your home.

Installation replaces existing shutter switches and requires connection to compatible motorized shutter systems. The switch supports standard European blind motors with mechanical or electronic end stops. Professional installation is recommended for electrical safety. Once installed, control connected window treatments through the Apple Home app, Siri voice commands, or the physical buttons on the switch face.

As a Full Thread Device (FTD), the always-powered switch actively routes data for other Thread accessories, strengthening your home's mesh network while providing reliable shutter control. The hardwired installation ensures consistent router availability. A Thread border router (HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K) is required for Thread operation.

HomeKit integration enables powerful automations—close shutters at sunset, open with morning alarms, adjust based on outdoor temperature, or include in scenes with other smart devices. The Eve app provides additional configuration options and position memory. Available in European formats compatible with standard mounting boxes. No cloud account required—entirely local HomeKit operation. Matter compatibility may be added through firmware updates.
