The SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect is a selective feeder that uses your pet's implanted microchip or an included RFID collar tag as an access key, ensuring only authorized pets can access food. When a registered pet approaches, the lid opens automatically; it closes and seals when they walk away, keeping food fresh and preventing food theft in multi-pet households. The sealed lid with neoprene lip retains moisture in wet food and keeps flies out.

Smart connectivity requires the Sure Petcare Hub (sold separately, connects to 10 devices), which links to your home router via Ethernet and communicates with the feeder wirelessly. The Sure Petcare app (iOS and Android) provides detailed eating behavior insights including when and how much each pet ate, helping identify changes that might indicate illness, anxiety, or stress. Integrated scales in the bowl bottom enable precise portion control with LED-guided filling accurate to within 1 gram—valuable for pets requiring weight management.

The 400ml (13.5 fl oz) bowl capacity accommodates both wet and dry food. The feeder operates on four C-cell batteries lasting approximately six months with normal use, and retains all settings even if the Hub loses internet connection. The package includes single and half bowls for flexible food presentation, a feeding mat, one RFID collar tag, and mounting hardware. Compatible with all common microchip formats (9, 10, and 15 digit) and operates independently if multiple pets share the same bowl.
