The Aqara Cube T1 Pro is an innovative gesture-controlled smart home remote that interprets physical movements to trigger automations and control devices. Building on the success of the original Aqara Cube, the T1 Pro adds a built-in gyroscope and accelerometer that enable highly accurate motion detection across seven distinct actions: shake, flip 90 degrees, flip 180 degrees, tap twice, rotate, push, and hold side. The cube can even detect which of its six sides is facing up, enabling up to 42 unique control combinations.
The T1 Pro connects via Zigbee 3.0 to your Aqara hub, ensuring fast response times and reliable communication. The compact 45 x 45 x 45mm cube is powered by a CR2450 battery lasting approximately one year with normal use. Each action and side combination can be programmed to control different devices or scenes through the Aqara Home app, HomeKit, or other compatible platforms.
Practical applications include rotating the cube to dim lights, flipping it to switch scenes, shaking to turn everything off, or pushing to activate specific devices. The intuitive physical interface provides a refreshing alternative to voice commands and smartphone apps. The Cube T1 Pro works with Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, IFTTT, and can be exposed to Matter ecosystems through compatible Aqara hubs.
