Bond Bridge

The Bond Bridge is a WiFi-to-RF/IR hub that brings smart control to ceiling fans, fireplaces, and other devices controlled by radio frequency or infrared remotes. This bridge learns existing remote commands and replays them on command from the Bond app, Alexa, Google Home, or automation platforms. It doesn't replace existing controls—it adds smart capabilities alongside them.

The bridge supports RF frequencies used by most ceiling fan remotes (including Hunter, Hampton Bay, Harbor Breeze, and others) plus IR for devices like fireplaces and some older fans. Learning mode captures remote signals for later replay. The Bond app provides fan speed control, light dimming (where the original remote supported it), and scheduling.

Voice control through Alexa and Google enables hands-free ceiling fan control with commands for specific speeds, light on/off, and preset modes. Home Assistant integration through the Bond Local API provides local control for advanced automation. For homes with existing RF ceiling fans and fireplaces, the Bond Bridge adds smart control without replacing working remotes or installing new hardware.
