Logitech Harmony Hub

The Logitech Harmony Hub is the central controller that enables Harmony remote systems to control devices throughout a room via IR, Bluetooth, and WiFi. This hub placed strategically can send IR signals to enclosed cabinets while connecting to streaming devices, gaming consoles, and smart home platforms. The hub is the brains behind Harmony's activity-based control.

NOTE: Logitech has discontinued the Harmony line, though existing hubs continue operating. The hub integrates with Philips Hue, SmartThings, Nest, and other platforms for coordinated entertainment and lighting control. IR blaster cables extend control to devices not in the hub's direct line of sight.

The Harmony Hub works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for voice-activated activities. The Harmony app enables smartphone-based control when the physical remote isn't convenient. While the product line is discontinued, existing hubs remain functional. Users with working Harmony systems can continue using them, though planning migration to alternative solutions for future needs is advisable.
