SwitchBot Curtain 3

The SwitchBot Curtain 3 is a smart curtain motor that attaches to existing curtain rods or tracks to automate opening and closing without replacing your window treatments. With 2x the motor power of previous versions (handling curtains up to 33 lbs / 15 kg) and ultra-quiet operation under 25dB, this third-generation device brings sophisticated automation to any curtain.

The device clips onto curtain rods (U-Rail or I-Rail versions available) and pulls curtains open or closed using a small motor. Solar charging panels provide supplemental power while the built-in battery offers months of operation. The Touch&Go feature detects when you manually move curtains and completes the motion automatically.

Bluetooth connectivity enables direct control through the SwitchBot app. Adding a SwitchBot Hub 2 (sold separately) enables WiFi connectivity for remote access, scheduling, voice control through Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, plus Matter support for Apple HomeKit integration. Without a hub, operation is limited to Bluetooth range.

The app provides scheduling based on time, sunrise/sunset, or integration with light sensors for automatic adjustment based on ambient conditions. Group multiple Curtain 3 devices for synchronized operation on wide windows or multiple windows. The precise motor control allows partial opening to any position. Home Assistant integration available via Bluetooth or SwitchBot cloud API.
