SwitchBot Hub 2

The SwitchBot Hub 2 is a central hub that bridges SwitchBot's Bluetooth devices to WiFi, enabling remote access, voice control, and Matter support for the SwitchBot ecosystem. Beyond hub functionality, it includes a built-in thermometer/hygrometer with display, light sensor, infrared blaster for controlling legacy IR devices, and Matter bridge capability.

The integrated temperature and humidity sensor with ambient light display provides at-a-glance environmental monitoring while feeding data to smart home automations. The IR blaster controls over 80,000 compatible infrared devices including TVs, air conditioners, and AV equipment, bringing legacy devices into your smart home without replacement.

As a Matter bridge, Hub 2 enables SwitchBot Lock, Curtain, Blind Tilt, and Bot devices to appear in Apple HomeKit, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and Samsung SmartThings through Matter protocol. This transforms Bluetooth-only SwitchBot products into full smart home citizens accessible from any platform.

WiFi connectivity (2.4GHz) provides reliable communication, with Bluetooth 5.0 for connecting SwitchBot accessories. The SwitchBot app enables comprehensive control, scheduling, and automation across all connected devices. Create scenes triggered by temperature, humidity, motion, or time. Compatible with Home Assistant through the SwitchBot cloud API or local Bluetooth integration.
