SwitchBot Remote

The SwitchBot Remote is a compact physical remote control for triggering SwitchBot devices and scenes with a simple button press. This portable controller provides quick access to smart home actions without reaching for your phone, with two customizable buttons that can trigger different functions.

Bluetooth connectivity communicates directly with nearby SwitchBot devices or through SwitchBot Hub for broader reach. Configure each of the two buttons to control specific devices—trigger your SwitchBot Bot to press a button, open/close SwitchBot Curtains, activate scenes, or control other SwitchBot accessories.

The compact design with included lanyard allows the remote to be carried, mounted to walls, or placed anywhere convenient. The buttons provide tactile feedback for confident activation. Battery operation via CR2450 coin cell provides approximately two years of use.

The SwitchBot app provides button configuration, allowing assignment of different actions to single press, double press, or long press on each button—potentially six different actions from one small remote. Integration with SwitchBot Hub enables triggering scenes that include multiple devices. Note that the remote communicates within the SwitchBot ecosystem and does not directly integrate with Alexa, Google, or HomeKit.
