The Ring Alarm Flood and Freeze Sensor monitors for water leaks and dangerous temperature extremes, helping prevent water damage from burst pipes, appliance leaks, and flooding. The dual-function sensor detects water accumulation as shallow as 1/32 inch while continuously monitoring ambient temperature, alerting you when readings fall below 40 degrees or rise above 95 degrees Fahrenheit.

Ideal placement locations include under kitchen and bathroom sinks, near water heaters, beside washing machines and dishwashers, and in basements or crawl spaces prone to flooding. The sensor sends immediate push notifications through the Ring app when triggered, regardless of your alarm system's armed status. This ensures time-critical alerts reach you quickly.

The sensor requires a Ring Alarm Base Station and communicates via Z-Wave protocol. Two AAA batteries provide approximately 3 years of operation. The low-profile design fits in tight spaces and includes mounting hardware for floor or wall placement. Integration with Amazon Alexa enables voice notifications and can trigger routines when conditions are detected.
