SwitchBot Roller Shade

The SwitchBot Roller Shade is a motorized smart shade that integrates seamlessly with the SwitchBot ecosystem for automated window treatment control. Unlike the retrofit Curtain and Blind Tilt products, this is a complete motorized shade solution providing quiet, precise positioning through app control, voice commands, or automated schedules.

The rechargeable motor operates quietly while providing precise shade positioning at any level. Solar panels provide supplemental charging to extend battery life, while the built-in battery offers months of operation between charges. The quiet operation makes automated scheduling practical even in bedrooms.

Bluetooth connectivity enables direct control through the SwitchBot app when nearby. Adding a SwitchBot Hub 2 (sold separately) enables WiFi connectivity for remote access, voice control through Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri, plus Matter support for Apple HomeKit integration. Schedule based on time or sunrise/sunset.

The SwitchBot app provides scheduling, grouping multiple shades for synchronized operation, and integration with other SwitchBot devices. Light sensors can trigger automatic adjustment based on ambient brightness. Create scenes that coordinate shades with other smart home devices for morning routines, movie watching, or energy efficiency. Home Assistant compatible.
