The Philips Hue Bridge Pro is Philips Hue's next-generation smart hub featuring dramatically upgraded hardware including a 1.7 GHz quad-core Cortex processor, 1 GB of RAM (compared to 16 MB in the original Bridge), and 4 GB of storage. This represents a 500x increase in memory and 5x faster processing power, enabling new AI-powered features and significantly faster response times.

The Bridge Pro can manage up to 150 lights (3x the previous 50-light limit) and 50 accessories, with support for storing over 500 personalized light scenes. A standout feature is MotionAware technology, which turns Hue lights into motion sensors by detecting changes in the Zigbee signal between bulbs—requiring at least three Hue lights in a room and compatible with fixtures manufactured after 2014. The hub also features Wi-Fi connectivity in addition to Ethernet, and uses USB-C for power.

Available in a black finish, the Bridge Pro serves as a Matter Border Router and maintains compatibility with all existing Hue devices and smart home platforms. Users with existing Hue Bridges can migrate their setup with just a few clicks. The Bridge Pro represents the biggest hardware upgrade in Hue's history and provides enhanced capacity for large smart home installations.
