Important Safety Notice

Warning: This is a hardwired installation requiring a dedicated 240V circuit. Professional installation by a licensed electrician is recommended.

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Shut off power: Turn off the main breaker at your electrical panel.
  2. Plan cable route: Determine the path from your panel to the charging location. The JuiceBox has a 25-foot cable.
  3. Install dedicated circuit: Install a 60A double-pole breaker in your panel for the 48A charger.
  4. Mount the JuiceBox: Use the included mounting bracket. Position at a comfortable height (36-48 inches recommended).
  5. Run wiring: Route 6 AWG wire through conduit from the panel to the JuiceBox location.
  6. Make connections: Open the JuiceBox wiring compartment. Connect L1, L2, and ground wires to the appropriate terminals.
  7. Close and secure: Replace the wiring cover and ensure weatherproof seals are in place.
  8. Energize circuit: Turn on the dedicated breaker, then the main breaker.
  9. Set up JuiceNet: Download the JuiceNet app. Create account and tap "Add JuiceBox."
  10. Connect WiFi: Follow app prompts to connect JuiceBox to your 2.4GHz network.
  11. Configure smart features: Set up charging schedules, Alexa/Google integration, and utility rate optimization.

Troubleshooting

  • Solid red light: Internal fault detected. Power cycle the unit. If persistent, contact support.
  • Blinking green, not charging: Vehicle may not be ready. Check vehicle charge settings.
  • App can't find JuiceBox: Ensure phone is on same network. Try power cycling the JuiceBox.
  • Reduced power output: Unit may be thermal throttling. Ensure adequate ventilation around the charger.
