Step-by-Step Setup
- Assemble feeder: Attach food hopper to base. Insert bowl.
- Connect power: Plug in power adapter. Optionally add D batteries for backup.
- Download PetSafe app: Install and create an account.
- Add feeder: Tap "+" and select Smart Feed 2nd Gen.
- Enable WiFi setup: Press and hold WiFi button until light flashes.
- Connect to network: Select 2.4GHz network and enter password.
- Fill with food: Add dry kibble to hopper. Holds up to 24 cups.
- Create pet profile: Enter pet's name and feeding requirements.
- Set feeding schedule: Create up to 12 meals per day with portion sizes.
- Test feeding: Dispense a test meal to verify operation.

Troubleshooting
