What You'll Need
- Catit PIXI Smart Fountain
- Smartphone (iOS 9.0+ or Android 5.0+)
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (5GHz not supported)
- Power outlet near placement location
Step 1: Download the App
Download the Catit PIXI app from the App Store or Google Play. You can scan the QR code included with your fountain or search for "Catit PIXI" in your app store.
Step 2: Create an Account
Open the app and tap "Sign up" to create your account. Follow the prompts to complete registration.
Step 3: Assemble the Fountain
Unpack all components and assemble the fountain according to the included instructions. Install the filter and fill the reservoir with fresh water up to the MAX line.
Step 4: Connect to Wi-Fi
Ensure your phone is connected to your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. Plug in the fountain's power adapter. In the app, tap the "+" button to add a new device.
Step 5: Put Fountain in Pairing Mode
Check if the white (or blue) LED on the fountain is blinking rapidly (3 times per second). If not, press and hold the button on the back of the fountain for 5+ seconds until it starts blinking rapidly.
Step 6: Complete Connection
Grant the app permission to access your local network in your phone's settings. Return to the PIXI app and enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted. Wait for the connection to complete - the LED will turn solid when successfully connected.
Alternative AP Mode
If the standard connection fails, use AP Mode: In the app, tap "AP Mode." Press and hold the fountain button until the LED blinks slowly. Follow the in-app instructions to connect directly to the fountain's network, then transfer your Wi-Fi credentials.

Troubleshooting
- Can't find fountain: Ensure you're on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi, not 5GHz
- LED not blinking: Hold the back button for 5+ seconds to reset pairing mode
- Connection timeout: Move fountain closer to router during setup; relocate after
- Check Bluetooth: Some models require Bluetooth enabled during initial pairing
