What You'll Need

  • ConnectSense Smart In-Wall Outlet or Power Strip
  • Apple Home app (iOS)
  • HomeKit-enabled home hub (HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV)
  • 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Install/position the device: Plug in or install the ConnectSense unit
  2. Locate HomeKit code: Find the 8-digit code on the device or packaging
  3. Open Apple Home app: Tap "+" → "Add Accessory"
  4. Scan or enter code: Use camera to scan QR code, or manually enter the numbers
  5. Wait for pairing: HomeKit will configure the device (may take 1-2 minutes)
  6. Assign to room: Select which room the device belongs to
  7. Name outlets: Give each outlet a descriptive name
  8. Test with Siri: Try "Hey Siri, turn on [outlet name]"

Troubleshooting
