What You'll Need
- ConnectSense Smart In-Wall Outlet or Power Strip
- Apple Home app (iOS)
- HomeKit-enabled home hub (HomePod, HomePod mini, Apple TV)
- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
Step-by-Step Setup
- Install/position the device: Plug in or install the ConnectSense unit
- Locate HomeKit code: Find the 8-digit code on the device or packaging
- Open Apple Home app: Tap "+" → "Add Accessory"
- Scan or enter code: Use camera to scan QR code, or manually enter the numbers
- Wait for pairing: HomeKit will configure the device (may take 1-2 minutes)
- Assign to room: Select which room the device belongs to
- Name outlets: Give each outlet a descriptive name
- Test with Siri: Try "Hey Siri, turn on [outlet name]"

Troubleshooting
- Won't pair: Ensure home hub is online. Reset device and try again

- Slow response: May indicate Wi-Fi issues. Check signal strength at device location
- Factory reset: Press and hold the button for 15+ seconds until LED flashes
