What You'll Need

  • Eaton Home app (iOS or Android)
  • 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
  • Neutral wire at outlet box
  • Screwdriver and voltage tester

Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Download Eaton Home app and create account
  2. Turn off power at circuit breaker
  3. Install the receptacle:
    • Connect hot (black) to brass terminal
    • Connect neutral (white) to silver terminal
    • Connect ground to green terminal
  4. Secure in box and attach faceplate
  5. Restore power
  6. Pair in app:
    • Tap "Add Device" in Eaton Home app
    • Select "Receptacle"
    • Put receptacle in pairing mode (LED flashing)
    • Enter Wi-Fi credentials
    • Complete setup and name device
