- 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
- Weather-resistant electrical box (outdoor rated)
- Screwdriver and voltage tester
Step-by-Step Setup
- Turn off power at the breaker controlling the outdoor outlet
- Install in outdoor box:
- Connect hot wire to brass terminal
- Connect neutral wire to silver terminal
- Connect ground to green terminal
- Mount outlet and attach weather-resistant cover
- Restore power
- Setup in My Leviton app:
- Download app and create account
- Tap "Add Device"
- Select "Outdoor Outlet"
- Follow pairing instructions
- Connect to Wi-Fi network

Troubleshooting
- Weak Wi-Fi outdoors: Consider a Wi-Fi extender or mesh node near outdoor area
- Won't pair: Reset by holding button 7+ seconds, then retry
- GFCI tripping: Ensure outdoor circuit is properly wired and not overloaded
- App shows offline: Verify Wi-Fi signal strength at outdoor location
