Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Turn off power at the circuit breaker and confirm with a voltage tester
  2. Remove existing outlet - Remove cover plate and disconnect the old outlet
  3. Wire the Leviton outlet:
    • Black (hot) wire to brass terminal
    • White (neutral) wire to silver terminal
    • Green/bare (ground) wire to green terminal
  4. Mount the outlet and install the cover plate
  5. Restore power at the breaker
  6. Pair with Zigbee hub:
    • Put your Zigbee hub in pairing mode
    • Press the outlet button to start pairing
