Step-by-Step Setup
- Inspect the device: Verify the surge protection indicator light is intact
- Connect to power: Plug in the surge protector. The protection LED should illuminate, and the power LED will flash
- Open Meross app: Tap "+" and select "Power Strip" or "Surge Protector"
- Put device in pairing mode: If not already flashing, hold power button for 5 seconds
- Connect to device network: Follow prompts to join the Meross setup network
- Enter Wi-Fi credentials: Input your 2.4GHz network password
- Wait for connection: The strip will connect and LED will turn solid
- Configure outlets: Name outlets and set up any automations

Troubleshooting
- Protection LED off: The surge protection has been used up. Replace the strip for continued protection
- Tripped circuit: The strip has overcurrent protection. Unplug high-draw devices and reset
- Pairing issues: Ensure router isn't blocking IoT devices. Try guest network if available
- HomeKit slow to respond: Enable "Thread" if you have a HomePod mini (this model supports Thread)
- Full reset: Hold power button 10+ seconds, release when all indicators flash
