• Google Home app (iOS/Android)
• Google account
• 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
• 6 AA batteries (included)

Step-by-Step Setup

1. Insert batteries: Install 6 AA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries
2. Attach backplate: Mount backplate to ceiling or wall with included screws
3. Download Google Home: Install app if not already
4. Add device: Tap "+" → "Set up device" → "New device"
5. Scan QR code: Scan code on back of Protect
6. Connect to Wi-Fi: Enter your 2.4GHz network credentials
7. Choose location: Select room where installed
8. Snap on Protect: Twist to attach to backplate
9. Test: Press button to verify operation
