Step-by-Step Setup
- Plug in the device: Insert the Onvis Smart Plug into a wall outlet. The LED will begin blinking, indicating pairing mode.
- Open Matter controller: Use Apple Home, Google Home, SmartThings, or another Matter-compatible app.
- Add new device: Tap "+" to add an accessory.
- Scan Matter code: Locate the QR code on the plug or packaging and scan it with your phone.
- Wait for connection: The plug will connect to your network via Wi-Fi or Thread.
- Assign room: Place the plug in the appropriate room.
- Name the plug: Give it a descriptive name for easy voice control.
- Test operation: Toggle on/off via the app and verify the physical button works.
- Set automations: Create schedules or automations as desired.

Troubleshooting
- LED not blinking: Unplug and replug. Hold button for 5-10 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- Matter pairing fails: Ensure you're on 2.4GHz Wi-Fi or have a Thread border router. Move closer to router/border router.
- Energy data not showing: Ensure plug is connected. Wait a few minutes for data to populate. Check app supports energy monitoring display.
- Plug offline: Check network connection. Power cycle the plug. Remove and re-add if persistent.
- Physical button unresponsive: May indicate hardware issue. Try factory reset. Contact support if problem continues.
