Step-by-Step Setup
- Plug in the device: Insert the WiZ smart plug into a wall outlet. The LED will start blinking.
- Open Matter controller: Use Apple Home, Google Home, SmartThings, or another Matter-compatible app.
- Add device: Tap "+" to add a new accessory.
- Scan Matter code: Locate the QR code on the plug or packaging and scan it.
- Wait for pairing: The plug will connect to your Wi-Fi network via the Matter controller.
- Assign room: Place the plug in the appropriate room for organization.
- Name the plug: Give it a descriptive name (e.g., "Living Room Lamp").
- Test operation: Turn on/off via app and physical button.
- Set schedules: Configure timers and schedules as desired.

Troubleshooting
- LED not blinking: Unplug and replug. Press and hold the button for 5 seconds to enter pairing mode.
- Matter pairing fails: Ensure 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Move closer to router during setup. Try resetting the plug.
- Plug offline: Check Wi-Fi connection. Power cycle the plug. Remove and re-add to the system.
- Physical button unresponsive: Try pressing firmly. If still unresponsive, factory reset and re-pair.
- Schedule not triggering: Verify time zone settings in your controller app. Check that the plug is online.
