What You'll Need

Step-by-Step Setup

Position the power strip: Place within Z-Wave range of your hub or nearest repeater
Plug in the strip: Connect to a wall outlet. All outlet LEDs will light briefly
Put hub in inclusion mode: Start Z-Wave device inclusion in your hub's app
Include the ZEN20: Press the Z-Wave button on the strip 3 times quickly
Wait for inclusion: Hub will discover the device and all 5 outlets
Name outlets: Each of the 5 outlets appears as a separate switch in your hub
Configure settings: Access Z-Wave parameters for LED behavior, power restore, etc.
Test all outlets: Toggle each outlet to ensure proper operation

5 controllable outlets: Each outlet is independently controllable via Z-Wave
2 USB ports: Always-on USB charging
Z-Wave Plus: Extended range and improved reliability
Energy monitoring: Power reporting for each outlet
Scene control: Supports Z-Wave scene activation
OTA updates: Firmware updates via Z-Wave (on supported hubs)

Won't include: Factory reset first: press Z-Wave button 3x, then hold for 10 seconds
Only one outlet shows: Hub may need to interview device again. Refresh/heal network
Ghost nodes: If previously failed inclusion, exclude first before re-including
LED always on: Configure Parameter 27 to change LED behavior
Power reports inaccurate: Allow 24 hours for calibration. Check Parameter settings
