Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Download Wyze app: Install and sign into your account.
  2. Plug into outlet: Connect Wyze Outdoor Plug to outdoor outlet.
  3. Open Wyze app: Tap "+" and select Outdoor Plug.
  4. Enable pairing: Hold the sync button until LED flashes blue.
  5. Connect to WiFi: Select your 2.4GHz network and enter password.
  6. Name outlets: Each of the 2 outlets can be named separately.
  7. Connect devices: Plug your outdoor devices into each outlet.
  8. Set schedules: Create on/off schedules for each outlet.

Troubleshooting

  • Won't connect: Ensure 2.4GHz WiFi. Reset by holding button 10 seconds.
  • Outlets not independent: Name each outlet separately in app for individual control.
  • Weather issues: Keep plug face-down to prevent water pooling in outlets.
  • Energy readings off: Allow 24 hours for accurate monitoring data.
