Outlet Not Connecting to WiFi
- ConnectSense requires 2.4GHz WiFi
- Use ConnectSense app for initial setup
- Hold button until LED blinks rapidly
- Follow app instructions for pairing
- Factory reset: Hold button 15 seconds
HomeKit Pairing Issues
- Scan HomeKit code on device or packaging
- Ensure iPhone on same WiFi network
- Home Hub (Apple TV/HomePod) recommended
- Try adding via ConnectSense app first
- Reset HomeKit settings in ConnectSense app
Outlet Showing Offline
- Check WiFi network is operational
- Power cycle outlet (unplug/replug)
- Verify outlet LED indicates connection
- Move outlet closer to router
- Re-add if offline persists
Energy Monitoring Not Showing
- Energy readings update periodically
- Check readings in ConnectSense app
- HomeKit shows power consumption
- Historical data available in app
- Some outlets show per-outlet usage
Power Strip Individual Control
- Each outlet controllable separately
- Outlets appear as individual accessories in HomeKit
- Name each outlet for easy identification
- USB ports may be always-on
- Create scenes for outlet combinations
Alexa Integration
- Enable ConnectSense skill in Alexa
- Link account when prompted
- Outlets appear in Alexa devices
- Voice control works alongside HomeKit
- Energy data not shown in Alexa
