The Furbo 360° Dog Camera provides pet monitoring with treat tossing and bark alerts. This guide covers connectivity, camera, and treat dispensing issues.

Camera Not Connecting to WiFi

Symptoms

  • Setup fails in Furbo app
  • Camera LED blinks but won't connect
  • Shows offline after initial setup

Solutions

  1. 2.4GHz network - Furbo only supports 2.4GHz WiFi, not 5GHz.
  2. Use Furbo app - Download the official Furbo app for setup.
  3. Reset camera - Hold reset button for 10 seconds until LED blinks.
  4. Check password - WiFi password is case-sensitive. Enter carefully.
  5. Close to router - During setup, keep camera within 30 feet of router.

Video Quality or Live View Issues

Symptoms

  • Blurry or pixelated video
  • Live view won't load
  • Frequent buffering

Solutions

  1. Check bandwidth - Furbo needs at least 2 Mbps upload for HD streaming.
  2. Move closer to router - Poor WiFi signal affects video quality.
  3. Reduce network traffic - Other streaming on your network may compete for bandwidth.
  4. Clean lens - Wipe camera lens to ensure clear video.
  5. 720p option - Switch to 720p if HD streaming isn't stable.

Treat Tossing Not Working

Symptoms

  • Treats don't dispense
  • Treats get jammed
  • Motor makes noise but no treat

Solutions

  1. Use correct treats - Round treats under 1 inch diameter work best.
  2. Fill level - Don't overfill the hopper. Leave room for treats to move.
  3. Clear jams - Open hopper and remove any stuck treats.
  4. Clean mechanism - Treat dust can cause jams. Clean dispensing mechanism.
  5. Test toss - Use in-app test to verify mechanism works.

Bark Alert Issues

Symptoms

  • No bark alerts received
  • Too many false alerts
  • Delayed notifications

Solutions

  1. Enable bark alerts - In app settings, ensure bark alerts are turned on.
  2. Adjust sensitivity - Lower sensitivity to reduce false alerts from TV or outside noise.
  3. Phone notifications - Verify Furbo app has notification permission on your phone.
  4. Cloud Dog Nanny - Full bark alert features require subscription.

360° Rotation Issues

Symptoms

  • Camera won't rotate
  • Tracking not following pet
  • Motor noise but no movement

Solutions

  1. Clear rotation path - Ensure nothing is blocking the camera's rotation.
  2. Enable tracking - Turn on dog tracking feature in app settings.
  3. Calibrate - Restart camera to recalibrate rotation motor.
  4. Power cycle - Unplug for 30 seconds and reconnect.
