Chamberlain myQ Smart Garage Hub

The Chamberlain myQ Smart Garage Hub adds WiFi connectivity and smartphone control to existing garage door openers manufactured after 1993. This hub attaches to your garage ceiling and connects to the opener, enabling remote monitoring and control through the myQ app. The included door sensor reports whether the garage is open or closed.

The myQ app provides real-time status, remote open/close control, activity history, and scheduled auto-close functionality. Guest access allows sharing control with family members or delivery services. Integration with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant enables voice control, though Apple HomeKit requires the separate myQ Home Bridge accessory (discontinued but still functional if you have one).

The hub connects to your 2.4GHz WiFi network and must be within 50 feet of your router for reliable operation. myQ works with most major garage door opener brands except some specific Chamberlain models with yellow learn buttons and certain Linear openers. For adding smart control to an existing garage door opener without replacement, the myQ hub provides practical remote access at reasonable cost.
