The bridge connects to your router via Ethernet and communicates with Caseta devices using Lutron's Clear Connect RF technology—a dedicated frequency that doesn't compete with WiFi for bandwidth. This separation ensures reliable operation even in homes with many WiFi devices or challenging radio environments.

The Lutron app provides comprehensive control including scheduling, scenes, geofencing, and device management. Voice assistant integration enables natural commands like "turn off all the lights" or "dim the living room to 50%." HomeKit support enables Siri control and inclusion in HomeKit scenes and automations.
