Wemo WiFi Smart Light Switch

The Wemo WiFi Smart Light Switch is an in-wall switch replacement that adds smart control to hardwired lighting and fans. This switch features Wemo's characteristic rocker design with LED status indicator, replacing standard toggle or paddle switches in single-pole configurations. The compact depth fits most electrical boxes.

WiFi connectivity enables direct connection without a hub, with the Wemo app providing scheduling, timers, and away mode that varies lights to simulate occupancy. The switch handles up to 1800W incandescent or 600W LED/CFL loads, suitable for most residential lighting. Installation requires a neutral wire, standard in most modern homes.

The switch integrates with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple HomeKit for voice control and automation. IMPORTANT: Belkin has announced Wemo cloud services will shut down January 31, 2026. After this date, Alexa and Google functionality will cease. HomeKit configuration before the shutdown will preserve local switching functionality. Plan HomeKit setup accordingly to maintain smart switch operation.
