The IKEA STYRBAR Remote Control is a versatile 4-button wireless controller designed for comprehensive smart light management. The remote features on/off buttons plus dedicated brightness adjustment buttons, allowing you to dim lights, switch them on and off, and step through color temperatures. Control up to 10 LED bulbs simultaneously, making it perfect for rooms with multiple light sources.

The remote uses Zigbee protocol and can operate independently of the hub by pairing directly with lights, ensuring reliable control even during WiFi outages. This direct pairing means lights respond instantly without cloud latency. The maximum range is 32 feet when not blocked by walls. The matching design coordinates with SOMRIG and RODRET controllers.

Powered by two AAA batteries (sold separately), STYRBAR provides long-lasting operation with minimal maintenance. When connected to DIRIGERA, use the remote to trigger scenes and automations beyond basic light control. The sleek design includes mounting hardware for wall installation, or carry it as a portable remote. Compatible with IKEA smart lights and integrates with Home Assistant via ZHA or Zigbee2MQTT.
