The Enbrighten Add-On Smart Outlet works with Enbrighten Z-Wave master devices to create multi-location switching for outlets without requiring additional Z-Wave radio hardware. This accessory pairs with Enbrighten Z-Wave smart outlets or switches to enable control from multiple wall plate locations—essential for rooms with multiple entry points.

As an add-on device, this outlet does not communicate directly with your Z-Wave hub. Instead, it connects via traveler wire to a compatible Enbrighten master device which handles all Z-Wave communication. This approach reduces cost compared to placing full Z-Wave devices at each location while maintaining convenient multi-point control.

Installation replaces existing duplex outlets with standard wiring connections plus a traveler wire to the master device.
