The Ring Alarm Smoke & CO Listener adds fire and carbon monoxide monitoring to your Ring Alarm system without replacing existing detectors. The device listens for the distinctive alarm patterns of standard smoke and CO detectors, then relays alerts through your Ring system. This enables smart notifications, professional monitoring response, and integration with your broader security setup.

The listener uses audio recognition technology to identify the T3 (smoke) and T4 (carbon monoxide) alarm patterns defined by UL standards. When it hears your existing detectors sound, it immediately sends alerts through the Ring app and triggers your Ring Alarm. With Ring Protect Plus, the monitoring center is notified and can dispatch emergency services even when you're away.

Installation is simple - mount the listener within 6 feet of your smoke or CO detector using included adhesive. The device requires a Ring Alarm Base Station and communicates via Z-Wave protocol. Powered by AA batteries with approximately 3-year lifespan. Use multiple listeners to cover detectors throughout your home.
