SwitchBot Outdoor Meter

The SwitchBot Outdoor Meter extends SwitchBot's environmental monitoring to exterior applications with a weather-resistant thermometer and hygrometer featuring a large display. The IP65-rated housing withstands rain, humidity, and temperature extremes for reliable outdoor monitoring of patios, gardens, greenhouses, and garages.

Swiss-made sensors provide accurate temperature and humidity readings visible on the large display designed for outdoor readability. The comfort indicator shows when conditions fall outside preset ranges. Readings update every four seconds for responsive tracking of changing weather conditions.

Bluetooth connectivity transmits data to the SwitchBot app with range sufficient for most outdoor installations near the home. Adding a SwitchBot Hub (sold separately) extends range through WiFi, enables remote monitoring from anywhere, and integrates with Alexa and Google Assistant for voice queries.

The weather-resistant design handles outdoor conditions while the integrated mounting options support installation on walls, fences, or greenhouse structures. Historical data logging tracks conditions over time with exportable charts. Create automations triggered by outdoor temperature or humidity—activate irrigation, control greenhouse vents, or receive frost warnings. Battery operation provides approximately one year of use.
