Step-by-Step Setup
- Charge the monitor: Connect USB-C cable and charge until full.
- Ensure hub is set up: The T1 requires an Aqara hub already configured on your network.
- Open Aqara Home app: Navigate to devices.
- Add accessory: Tap "+" and select "Air Quality Monitor T1."
- Put device in pairing mode: Press and hold the button on the T1 until the LED blinks.
- Wait for connection: The app will find and connect to the device via Zigbee.
- Name and place: Give it a name and assign to a room.
- Position the monitor: Place at breathing height (3-5 feet) away from windows and vents.
- View readings: The e-ink display shows TVOC, temperature, and humidity.

Troubleshooting

- Battery draining fast: Frequent automations increase power use. Reduce polling if possible.
