Step-by-Step Setup
- Plan cable routing: Determine where to run Ethernet from PoE switch to camera location.
- Mount the camera: Install mounting bracket. Camera is weatherproof for outdoor use.
- Connect Ethernet: Run cable from PoE switch/injector to camera. Power delivered over cable.
- Insert microSD card: Optional for local recording backup.
- Camera powers on: Announces "Ready for setup" when connected.
- Download Aqara Home app: Install and sign in.
- Add camera: Tap "+" and select "Camera Hub G5 Pro."
- Network detected: Camera uses wired connection automatically. Confirm in app.
- Add Zigbee devices: Pair Aqara sensors and accessories through the camera hub.
- Configure settings: Set motion zones, alerts, and HomeKit options.

Troubleshooting
