Step-by-Step Setup

  1. Unbox and assemble: Remove all packaging. The unit comes mostly assembled.
  2. Position the unit: Place on flat, level surface with clearance for the globe to rotate.
  3. Install waste drawer: Slide waste drawer into base with liner bag installed.
  4. Add litter: Pour clumping litter to the fill line (about 8-10 lbs) inside the globe.
  5. Connect power: Plug into standard outlet. Unit performs initial calibration.
  6. Download Whisker app: Install and create a Whisker account.
  7. Add Litter-Robot: Tap "+" and select Litter-Robot 4. Follow onboarding.
  8. Connect WiFi: Press and hold Connect button on unit. Enter 2.4GHz network credentials.
  9. Introduce your cat: Let cat explore. Some cats need days to adjust.
  10. Verify operation: After cat uses it, confirm cleaning cycle runs properly.
