- SureFlap Microchip Pet Door Connect
- Sure Petcare Hub (required for smart features)
- Sure Petcare app on smartphone
- Pet with microchip or SureFlap RFID collar tag
- Door or wall for installation
- WiFi network (2.4GHz for Hub)
Step-by-Step Setup
- Install the door: Cut opening in door or wall per template. Secure pet door frame.
- Insert batteries: Install 4 C batteries in the pet door.
- Register pet's microchip: Press the Add Pet button. Have pet walk through to scan microchip.
- Set up Hub: Connect Hub to power near pet door. Plug in Ethernet to router.
- Download Sure Petcare app: Install and create account.
- Add Hub to app: Scan QR code on Hub or enter code manually.
- Connect pet door: In app, add the pet door. Hub discovers it automatically.
- Assign pets: Link registered pets to their profiles in the app.
- Set lock modes: Configure entry/exit permissions for each pet.
- Enable curfew: Optionally set times when door locks automatically.

Troubleshooting
- Door won't read microchip: Have vet verify microchip is functional. Try RFID collar tag instead.
- Pet won't use door: Prop flap open initially. Use treats to encourage.
- Hub won't connect: Ensure Ethernet cable is connected. Check router settings.
- Curfew not working: Verify time zone is set correctly in app.
- Battery draining fast: Normal in high-traffic homes. Use quality batteries.
